Iran film critics, screenwriters gala winners named

The 11th edition of Iran film critics and screenwriters gala has named the winners.

The jury has announced the winners of various sections of the 11th edition of the festival, the media reported.

The award for best male actor in a leading role went to Hamed Behdad for ‘Blockage’.

Hadi Hejazifar received the award for best male actor in a supporting role for starring in ‘Midday Event’.

Leila Hatami won the award for best actress in a leading role for ‘Subdued’, while Tannaz Tabatabaei received the prize for best actress in a supporting role for ‘Villa Residents’.

Masoumeh Bayat got the award for best script for ‘Subdued’ and the best directing award was dedicated to Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian for ‘Midday Event’.

‘Subdued’ was selected as the best film of the 11th edition of Iran film critics and screenwriters gala.
